In the first eight months, GAC Group’s cumulative sales exceeded 1 million units, with its independent brand achieving a growth of over 30%

As of the end of August 2026, GAC Group’s total vehicle sales reached 1.0126 million units, a year-on-year increase of 0.21%. Among these, its own-brand vehicles performed outstandingly, with cumulative sales exceeding 461,500 units in the first eight months, a year-on-year increase of 31.44%, maintaining double-digit growth for six consecutive months. In August alone, sales amounted to 61,400 units, a year-on-year increase of 20.43%, and the proportion of sales increased to 48.49%. In terms of exports, in August, own-brand vehicles accounted for nearly 27,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 177%. Over the first eight months, cumulative exports reached 172,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 136%. Although monthly production in August was 126,700 units and sales were 126,600 units, both down by 1.18% and 6.71% year-on-year, the group adheres to strict quality control standards, ensuring product quality through “two winters and one summer” verification cycles and extreme testing systems.
