Xiaomi Auto announced a joint effort with Zhongchuang Innovate Sky and Xinyuan Da to develop the “Longjia” battery. Xiaomi will be responsible for product definition, battery pack design and development, cell design participation, and full-process quality control. The choice of these two world-class battery suppliers was based on three key criteria: technical synergy, production capacity assurance, and precise product integration. Both companies have distinct strengths in technology, possessing top-tier R&D and mass-manufacturing capabilities, which complement Xiaomi’s ability to define complete vehicles. This cooperation aims to enhance production resilience, ensure stable delivery after mass production, and maintain stability in the vehicle delivery process for users.
