Amkor Arizona Advanced Packaging and Testing Park Phase II launched: Total investment of $12 billion in two phases

Amkor, the world’s second-largest OSAT company, announced the launch of its second-phase project at its advanced packaging testing campus in Arizona. Due to insufficient capacity in the first phase’s 33,000-square-meter cleanroom, the second phase will add another 60,000 square meters of cleanrooms. The project covers an area of 170 acres and will create approximately 3,500 jobs. The campus has the potential for further expansion according to customer requirements. Construction is scheduled to begin by the end of 2027 and be completed by the end of 2029. The total investment for both phases is estimated at about $12 billion.
