xAI will phase-in the Grok Bot and Build features from August to September 2026. The enterprise version has been available for two weeks of free trial.
On August 11, 2026, xAI launched the early beta version of Grok Bot. This AI assistant can work around the clock and independently execute tasks using its own dedicated computer. Later, on August 19, the Grok Build feature was expanded to all packages for both web and mobile versions, allowing users to directly generate applications, games, or dashboards through dialogue. On September 3, xAI officially opened Grok Bot to enterprise customers, enabling existing and non-paying users to invite entire teams to use it. It also promised two weeks of free access for Grok and Cursor Enterprise customers.
