Ningbo Weifu Technology Co., Ltd. launched the fully integrated recycling technology for used lithium iron phosphate at the 2026 World Power Battery Conference and signed a contract for implementation in Gongxian, Yibin, with production expected to begin in 2028. Relying on the team from Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the company achieved a lithium leaching rate of over 98% and a comprehensive iron-phosphorus recovery rate of no less than 95%, materializing lithium iron phosphate into a usable form to overcome recycling challenges. Chairman Liu Ying stated that with the implementation of China’s Ecological Environment Code and EU battery regulations, the industry has entered an era of compliance. Weifu provides high-purity materials and full-process traceability data to help downstream enterprises convert compliance into competitiveness. The company also plans to gradually build overseas factories to meet different market standards.
