ByteDance plans to expand its artificial intelligence data center cluster in Inner Mongolia. According to overseas media reports, this initiative aims to support the development of its AI technology and the growing demand for computing power.
ByteDance is seeking to expand its computing capacity by building out more data centres in Inner Mongolia, China, in the next two years. The company had been in preliminary talks with local data centre vendors to add between five and six gigawatts of compute in Ulanqab.
