OpenAI developer claims Astra boosted productivity so much it pulled some plans forward by six months

Thibault Sottiaux, a developer at OpenAI, said that before the Astra product was made public, its internal testing significantly improved the company’s overall productivity. According to reports first published by The Decoder, Astra is referred to by Sottiaux as OpenAI’s “most significant competitive advantage.” Thanks to the efficiency gains brought by this tool, some of OpenAI’s original project schedules were completed six months ahead of schedule.
