On September 3, Shengli Petroleum Engineering Company announced ten major technologies at a technical conference. These technologies cover integrated geological engineering, intelligent drilling pressure, automated drilling, and green and low-carbon technologies, aiming to unlock potential in deep underground areas, achieve efficiency through intelligence, and create a sustainable future. The company specializes in all aspects of downhole operations for land and marine oil and gas exploration, and has focused on developing these technologies in recent years. Among them, the efficient completion of the Liang 218 block achieved a 390% increase in drilling speed and a 35% reduction in costs, setting a new record for cooperative development of underutilized reserves; the Shengli Jiyang shale oil project completed its 10-year upgrade abroad in just three years, earning it the title “China’s Shale Revolution”; the underutilized reserves development model resulted in the utilization of 270 million tons of reserves, with new production capacity exceeding 4 million tons, earning it the reputation of “revolution in petroleum engineering management.” This announcement marks the company’s transition from a single drilling service provider to a technology-leading enterprise with comprehensive services capabilities. At the conference, the company also established the Yellow River Delta Oil and Gas New Energy Petroleum Engineering Technology Innovation Consortium in collaboration with universities.
