Suwailong Hydropower Station won the National High-Quality Project Award

As a model of hydropower project construction in China, Suwailong Hydropower Station features large-scale construction, advanced technology, and scientific management. The project began construction in 2014 and entered full operation in 2017, with a total installed capacity of 200,000 kilowatts and an annual power generation of approximately 1 billion kilowatt-hours. The project utilizes internationally advanced unit technology and world-leading dry core cooling technology. The units are ultra-supercritical in nature, with each unit having a capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts. The total investment in the project was about 10 billion yuan, and it took only 10 years to complete, creating a miracle in the history of hydropower construction in China. After completion, the project not only provided stable clean energy for regional economic development but also set a new standard for hydropower project construction in China, becoming an important representative project for the National High-Quality Project Award.
