China's supply chain has supported the world's most affordable humanoid robots and enabled profitable leadership in the industry. Yet, what the embodied intelligence sector most lacks—something that supply chains still cannot provide—is the "brain.

On August 19, Yushu Technology was listed on the Sci-Tech Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Its opening price was 1,100 yuan per share, a surge of 629.44%, and its market value reached 444.9 billion yuan. According to the prospectus, in 2025, the number of humanoid robots produced by Yushu will exceed 5,500 units, and the revenue from humanoid robots will surpass that of four-legged robots for the first time, becoming the largest source of income. China’s supply chain has made it possible to produce the world’s cheapest and most profitable humanoid robots, but the “brain” supply chain required by the embodied intelligence industry still cannot be provided. Although technical breakthroughs have been achieved in the hardware components of robots, there are still gaps in high-precision sensors, precision actuators, advanced embodied models, and control algorithms. Specifically, core components such as six-dimensional force sensors, high-end planetary roller screws, and high-torque-density frameless torque motors still rely on overseas manufacturers; AI chips are highly dependent on overseas computing platforms like Nvidia, resulting in lower maturity of domestic humanoid robots’ “brains”.
