GAC Group states that it will never produce “quick-prototyped cars”: no rushing the construction schedule, no forcing verification; every car must withstand the test of time.
GAC Group issued a statement stating that it will firmly avoid developing “quick-fix cars”, adhering to not rushing the construction timeline or imposing strict requirements, and ensuring that each vehicle can withstand the test of time. The development of new vehicles strictly follows the “two winters and one summer” verification cycle, using industry-leading “five high-levels and one extreme test” standards, covering extreme cold, heat, and high altitudes. Taking the Trumpchi Geely 7 as an example, 685 actual vehicles were used for road tests, completing millions of kilometers of verification. It took a three-year development period to successfully complete the 500,000-kilometer endurance test per vehicle. Previously, GAC Group announced that from January to August 2026, cumulative sales exceeded 1 million units, reaching 1.0126 million units; among which, self-owned brands accounted for over 461,500 units, a year-on-year increase of 31.44%, maintaining double-digit growth for six consecutive months.
